Poll for Business Leaders: Sentiments on U.S. Tariff Changes
In response to the recent changes to US tariffs since 2 April, the Singapore Government has established a National Task Force to address the impact of these updates, as announced by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in Parliament on 8 April.
Led by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore) and chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, the task force is committed to engagement, communication, information sharing, and transparency to assist Singapore businesses in navigating these uncertainties.
AustCham Singapore has been invited as a member of this National Task Force to facilitate two-way communication between government and businesses with a view to raise our collective awareness of how businesses and workers are impacted and adapting, and allow the Taskforce to identify and respond quickly to address immediate challenges.
As part of this initiative and ensure that the voices of the Australia-Singapore community are heard, we would like to encourage members to take part in the Singapore Business Federation's flash business sentiment poll through the Centre for Future of Trade and Investment (CFOTI). This poll aims to gather your sentiments and feedback on the anticipated impact and the assistance needed during this transition. Please be assured that all responses will remain strictly confidential, and only aggregated data will be shared in any published reports.
